I have growing water issued in the basement that I need dealt with. Currently there is no sump pit and the exterior footer drain appears to have failed. (built in 1952). I am resorting to shop vacuuming the water when it accumulates. I need an estimate.

Our house is @200 years old with a dirt basement floor. The basement was insulated and a vapor barrier installed about 5 years ago. The water table is just below the basement level, so always have water underneath the vapor barrier in a channel which directly drains into a sump pump. We often have a problem with the sump pump drain clogging however and occasionally the sump.pump floater seems to get stuck. l am hoping that you can advise what to do about our situation.
